We are thrilled to announce the election of Vanessa Galjaardt to the Board of Directors of the French American Chamber of Commerce Rocky Mountain (RMFACC) in Utah.
Vanessa brings over 20 years of experience in project management, market studies, diplomacy, and entrepreneurship, with a strong background in event organization and non-profit support. For over a decade, she has been active in associations like International Women’s Clubs, where she has played a key role in organizing networking events and fostering connections that help individuals and businesses thrive.
Raised in the South of France, Vanessa completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics at Durham University in England, followed by a Master’s degree in International Economics at McGill University in Montreal. Her global career has taken her from the French Trade Commissions in Vancouver and Dubai, where she supported French businesses entering these markets, to six years as a Chargée de Mission for former French Prime Minister Michel Rocard.
Based at the Australian Embassy in Paris, she managed high-profile commemorative events celebrating historic Franco-Australian expeditions and scientific achievements.
In addition to her work in international business, Vanessa is a licensed real estate professional and manages several investment properties through her own business.
Having lived in Australia, the UAE, Iraq, and France, Vanessa has now settled in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her Australian husband and their three teenagers. She loves the outdoors and is eager to bring her rich experience and global perspective to Utah.
Vanessa is honored to join the RMFACC and is enthusiastic about strengthening business ties between France and the United States. Welcome, Vanessa!
