1. Could you share your journey to becoming the CEO/Development Group Director/USA Country Manager of EAS International, and what inspired you to pursue a career in this industry?
I began my career in logistics in 1997 when I joined the newly established factory of the American company MARS near my hometown. Initially recruited for the accounting department, I was redirected to logistics due to their more pressing staffing needs. The dynamic nature of the logistics department became apparent from the very start—so much so that my direct supervisor didn’t have the time to inform me about my start date! Impatiently, I took the initiative to call and was informed I’d be starting the following Monday. And so, my journey in logistics began.
At that time, logistics wasn’t as commonly understood as it is today. When I started, I didn’t fully grasp the scope of responsibilities within the department, but I decided to rise to the challenge. Explaining my new role to my parents, I simplistically described logistics as "transportation"—partially true, as I began my career in the transportation department.
My first job in a large, rapidly expanding corporation operating in a burgeoning market was a challenge comparable to resolving automotive supply chain disruptions during the COVID era. On a serious note, it was at MARS that I gained foundational knowledge, skills, and connections with professionals who have since excelled in leading companies or their own successful ventures. Even now, I marvel at how a young man with no prior experience managed to coordinate 2,600 truckloads annually, just for export operations from a single location. This experience shaped me professionally and opened doors for future opportunities.
With the operational expertise I gained at MARS, I found it easy to advance my career as the logistics industry’s demand for experienced managers skyrocketed. Over the years, I worked across various facets of logistics—domestic distribution, international transport, warehousing, co-packing—and in diverse organizational structures, ranging from local to global. I had the privilege of collaborating with companies rooted in American, German, Swedish, and French business cultures.
The first decade of my career was dedicated to operational roles, giving me a solid foundation that later allowed me to transition seamlessly into sales and business development. This included introducing new logistics services to the market and even establishing entirely new logistics companies in Poland.
Six years ago, during an industry conference in Bangkok, I had the opportunity to meet members of the EAS International leadership team. These conversations led to my decision to join the group, spearhead the opening of their Polish branch, and subsequently lead the establishment of our operations in the USA.
Today, as the President of EAS USA LLC, I reflect on this journey with immense gratitude. Each step, from my beginnings in a fast-paced logistics department to managing operations on an international scale, has shaped the professional I am today.
For me, the human aspect of work is paramount—who I work with, mutual understanding, positive energy, as well as dynamism and professionalism, are critical. Above all, the most important element is trust. Trust is not only essential for me but also for our clients. In today’s world of constant challenges and ever-changing realities, is there anything more vital than trust?
I have found these values deeply embedded in EAS International, where they are safeguarded by our CEO, Olivier Hennequin. Additionally, the godfather of our international development—particularly in Poland and now in the USA—is Marco Muggianu, Development Group Director at EAS, a person truly dedicated to "connecting people."

4. You recently expanded into the U.S. market. What does this expansion mean for the company?
Expanding into the U.S. market is a significant milestone for EAS International. It demonstrates our commitment to becoming a truly global logistics provider while reinforcing our ability to deliver localized attention to our clients. This step strengthens our presence and positions us as a reliable partner for businesses operating on an international scale, leveraging our experience and heritage to bridge global supply chains with the U.S. market.
Many of our clients are large global corporations, including American companies that we have been serving through our offices in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Their trust and confidence in our services have been instrumental in motivating us to take this step. It was their encouragement and the increasing demand for our expertise in the U.S. that ultimately inspired us to open the EAS office in the United States as part of our global development strategy.
5. What motivated the decision to establish operations specifically in Arizona?
Arizona presented itself as a strategic choice for several reasons. Its location offers proximity to key logistics hubs and access to a thriving market in industries like aerospace, automotive, and high-tech manufacturing. Beyond that, we discovered exceptional local talent here, which has been instrumental in establishing and running our operations. Arizona’s business-friendly environment and infrastructure further aligned with our vision for growth in the U.S. market.
6. What key challenges and opportunities have you encountered since establishing a presence in the USA?
Establishing operations in the U.S. has brought both challenges and opportunities. One of the initial hurdles was navigating the complexities of a new market, from understanding regional regulations to building brand recognition in a highly competitive industry. However, these challenges have also presented opportunities, such as tapping into the thriving automotive and high-tech sectors. We’ve been able to leverage our strong global network and logistics expertise to develop partnerships in major manufacturing hubs and demonstrate the value of our solutions in addressing local challenges.
7. Which sectors or regions in the USA do you see as the most promising for EAS International's growth, and what steps are you taking to build a lasting presence?
The automotive parts sector is particularly promising for EAS International, with significant opportunities in regions like Chicago and Detroit, where the automotive and manufacturing industries are flourishing. To build a lasting presence, we are focused on fostering strong relationships with key clients in these sectors. Additionally, we’re investing in our local teams to ensure they deliver responsive, client-focused services that uphold the EAS standard of excellence.
8. Since entering the U.S. market, what are some valuable lessons you have learned, both personally and professionally?
Personally, I’ve learned the importance of adapting to cultural differences and fostering transparent communication to build trust with clients and partners. Professionally, it’s become clear that success in the U.S. market requires a delicate balance of innovation and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of clients across industries. Establishing a local presence has been invaluable in helping us better understand and address these needs, creating a foundation for long-term success.
9. As a leader, what values are most important to you, and how do you bring these values into the day-to-day operations at EAS International?
Integrity, collaboration, and client-centricity are values I hold dear, and I strive to bring them into every aspect of our operations. I believe in fostering open communication and teamwork within our organization, empowering our team members to make decisions that prioritize our clients’ needs. By setting an example of accessibility and proactive problem-solving, I aim to create an environment where everyone is aligned in their commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
10. Looking to the future, what would you like EAS International to achieve and what legacy do you hope to create within the company?
Looking ahead, I want EAS International to become a leading name in time-critical logistics, recognized for its reliability, innovation, and customer focus. I envision a future where we’ve established strong, lasting relationships with clients across the U.S., becoming their trusted partner for all their logistics needs. With decades of expertise, I hope to leave a legacy of dependability and growth where our company is celebrated not only for its achievements but also for the trust and value we’ve brought to our clients and partners.
